Description
IN PETRA Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC Biologico is an organic red wine made from 100% Montepulciano grapes. The harvest takes place in the second week of October, when the grapes reach full maturity. The winemaking follows tradition, with fermentation in stone vats at a controlled temperature of 25-28°C, during which the skins are periodically mixed to enhance the extraction of polyphenols and aromas. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in stainless steel and is aged until natural stability and clarity are achieved.
The wine has an intense ruby red color, a fruity aroma with spicy and mineral notes, and a balanced taste, savory and mineral, with good body and great persistence. It pairs well with red meats and aged cheeses.
Alcohol: 13.5%. Serve at 18°C.
